Time-to-event data analysis methods have a widerange of applications. The classical approach focuseson the survivor function and Cox proportional hazardregression when there are covariates to assess. Popula-tion evolution charts address these methods from adifferent angle by focusing on the distribution of thecovariate for the developing cohort over time. Covari-ates that are related to the target events will show achange in distribution over time. Population evolutioncharts need fewer assumptions than the standard ap-proaches.
